Use Hardware Monitor and a benchmark test alongside each other to check the temps of your hardware and see if there is anything unusual there Use DDU to uninstall graphic drivers in safe mode and reinstall driversĬheck the cable connections to your monitor and PC I can only suggest some things you can do from what I have been told by AMD and the company that I bought he PC from: It is funny how you commented now though, because I thought I just fixed it but I got one black screen when I was playing 'The Forest' last night. I don't know if this information helps but I thought it was worth mentioning. I looked online and was told to turn off 'hardware acceleration' in discord and since I did this the number of black screens I experienced when using discord decreased.
I don't know if this is coincidence or not but when using discord when playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds I experienced more black screen 'flashes'. Whilst playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, for example, I get the black screen 'flash' for 1-2 secs about 5 times every half an hour, however in Rocket League I get a black screen 'flash' once every couple of hours. I don't know if this is a problem with my GPU or monitor (ViewSonic XG2401 with a DisplayPort cable and FreeSync on) or a combination of the two. I recently bought a new PC which has a XFX RX 580 XXX 8GB graphics card installed, however when I play games I am getting a black screen for about 1-2 seconds and then the display shows the game again.
